Okay, this is what Jhene said in the interview on the B2K Remix Cd. It took me a while to type the whole interview. If you do not have the cd, nor heard the interview, read below and enjoy. Everything that is typed below is on point!

“Hi I’m Jhene. I’m from Los Angeles, California and actually I’m cousins
with Lil Fizz from B2K.”

The Self-Tiled Debut Album

“My album should be out in November so you guys look out for me.”

Lil Fizz and Family

“Well I’ve known Lil Fizz for all my life and the rest of the boys in B2K
I have known for 3 years now, 4 years.”
(Fans screaming)

“I have to get used to this. (giggles) Their fans are like so devoted. Their like the best. When
I see them at their concerts I’m just like Oh my god I hope I have fans like
that like I hope they enjoy my music as well because their fans are like…their
just the best they really are.”

Jhene’s Big Break

(Singing “Dangerously in Love”)

“I’ve been singing all my life, so really what happened was one day you
know Chris Stokes heard me singing, who is the manager of B2K and IMx and I’m
signed to T.U.G. the production. They always knew I could sing but one day they
heard me and they’re like “Oh Wow I didn’t know you could sing that good”
so that’s when it all started.”

Becoming an Artist

“Well being an artist is very hectic and I didn’t expect it to be but you
know it’s fun you know I get to be in the studio and I love being in the studio
and I like being around B2K and all the boys.”

All in the Family

“Well I’ve been really singing all my life because I’ve grew up around
alot of music I’m really really really close to all of my family. Their like
the biggest supporters in anything I do. Both of my sisters sings and my brothers
also in a group and their like I said their all supportive down to my aunties
and uncles and godmother everybody they’re just all I love them.” (giggles)

A Day in The Life

“Well my typical day I wake up around eight and I go to school for 3 hours,
3 hours a day, five days a week then after school it’s either rehearsal or studio
but right now it’s rehearsal because I’m rehersing for my video. After the rehersal
when I go to the studio that depending on what the vibe is you know how we’re
feelin how my vocals are we could be in there either you know for 2 days or
the whole week, spend the night, whatever.

Recording

“My best experience is when I’m in with Platinum Status and that’s part
of the whole B2K clique it’s just really fun with them cause you know it’s they’re
all so crazy you know we’re all play fighting and everything and it’s really
fun when I’m in with them but you know when it’s time to work I do or you know
I’m just not playing with them but yeah those were the best times.”

“What’s Up? We’re doing a dog scene right now.” – Lil Fizz

“Do my, man that was so…” – Jhene

“She’s like too little to like hold the dog like she don’t have enough
strength.” – Lil Fizz

(Jhene laughs)

“So the dog is like pulling her when she walk him.” – Lil Fizz

“Gonna walk and sit
down with the dogs.” – Jhene

“One of the crazy parts
I had to walk a dog, this big, big rockwilder.” – Jhene

During film shoot, she gets
up and starts walking the dog. The dog is pulling her along while she walks
him.

“He was just pulling
me and I was about to fall my hands hurt.”

“These dogs weigh 200
pounds.” – Lil Fizz

“Are you serious?” – Jhene

“Nah I’m joking.” – Lil Fizz

“But it was fun, it
was fun.”

Keepin It Real

“I want people to know that you know I’m a regular teenage girl going through
the same problems you know everybody else is going through. I want them to enjoy
my music as much as I enjoy doing it.”

1.If, or when do you plan to release some of your music??

Right now I am not sure on ANY dates, Im NOT signed anymore, so I’m starting from SCRATCH…But I will continuously put new music on my music page…and IF made possible by the producer…I WILL make them DOWNLOADABLE

2.Do You plan to work with any of the T.U.G. artists such as your sister Mila J??

I think that’s a great idea that is VERY probable

3. From back in 2003 the album “My Name Is Jhene” do you have any of the music you can put up or you cant??

I am in the process of making a THROWBACK page with the help of BEANGURL I will put those songs on that page, but I CAN NOT make them downloadable

4. How are you and O’Ryan?

lol..he’s doing great

5. How was ya B’day?

My birthday was great….Just happy to be here to see another year

6. What Did you do?

I had a beach bonfire, and hung out with family and friends

7. In 2003 do you feel Sony or T.U.G didn’t promote you well?

I would agree, but I dont hold anyone accountable…It wasnt my time…and timing is everything.Whatever will be will me…HAKUNA MATATA

8.What was a big challenge for you so far in the music biz??

The biggest challenge is trying not to compare yourself to everyone else,because thats when u become insecure…but I’ve learned to love myself and recognize my talent…as well as the talent of EVERY artist and person PERIOD.

9. Is it Trey Songz we can here on He Couldn’t Kiss??? Did you met him and Troy Taylor? If yes, how was it working with them?

No actually that was STEVE RUSSELL, a very talented producer who’s with the UNDERDOGS and was in the group TROOP. But I actually met Trey when I was about 14,15 when I was in the studio with TROY TAYLOR and they are both fun to be around…haven’t talked to either of them in a while tho.

10. What is a typical day in your life?

As of right now, I’m in school…recording,writing,loving…lol I just live day to day…nothing special…a typical day for me…is just that TYPICAL. Probably not much different from YOUR typical day

11.You’re only 19 and you have already done a lot!!! What would be your biggest achievement?

I would have to say my biggest achievement is learning from my mistakes daily and being at TOTAL peace in this crazy world. I can honestly say, through all the sad,bad and crazy things that happen…I’m just greatful to be alive…and I’m proud of myself for not falling into any negativity.

13.As regard of your musical career up to now, what is your best experience?

My best experience thus far HAS to be the SCREAM TOUR 3…..like, that was the most fun EVER

14.How would you describe your music?

MY music,like the music I write personally is from my soul…very R&B, easy listening.I Love John Mayer and India Arie and I really want to incorporate that INSPIRATIONAL sound with the R&B and come up with something FRESH.

15. If the world is a stage, what is your part?

Im the one on the side og the stage telling all the performers..YOU CAN DO IT!!!

16. If you were granted three wishes, but you couldn’t use them to directly benefit yourself, what would they be?

1,rid the world of IGNORANCE,2,Tupac to come back to life,3,go back to the SIMPLE days where we ALL lived with nature and stuff

BOTH

18. What is your definition of the word “free”?

Free is no boundaries,no obligations,no fears……JUST happy and content…@peace

Depends on my mood….Mostly red,but often green,lol

22. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR GOALS IN LIFE?

Honestly, I just want to have a long ,productive life. I want to help as many people as I can, I want to help change the way people think and do my part in solving the whole GLOBE’S problems…in whatever way I can.

23. ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING WITH SOME LABELS?

NO

24.WHY DIDNT THAT SONG “LET YOU GO” COME OUT IN 03 CAUSE THAT TRACKS IS HOT!?

GREAT

26.your page said your unsigned artist why is that?

Well, Im not quite sure….but a record deal is NOT a measure of talent or success. signed or unsigned, I will still contribute to the salvation of the GLOBE.

27.i know you sing and singers get special teacher for them when they travel but are you planning on going to a 4 year school

Yes, I actually plan on transferring to a four year to major in DRAMA.

28.last one when you going to come through my page love:)?

29.my question is why did you left Tug?

I left TUG mainly because I was focusing on school at the moment and felt that they had alot going on over there. CHRIS STOKES is my big BROTHER who I will always LOVE and RESPECT and everyone on TUG is my family.S o, although in the future the cd cover MAY not say “TUG”….they all have made me who I am and are a major part of my life….

30. and are you coming back in the music bizz or you just gonna leave it like that?

I think I answered that a couple questions up…..

31.and ooh yeah i wanna be a singer too do you have any advice for me.?

For ANYONE who feels they want to be a singer….make sure you kno that it should have nothing to do with wanting to be FAMOUS or RICH,or POPULAR….with great
power comes great responsibility….and you should ALWAYS do things because of the positive effects it will have on EVERYONE…not just YOURSELF. Its alot
of work, and its definitley not the career for the sensitive types. Also…ALWAYS have a back up plan and dont depend on that ONE THING thas gonna MAKE U FAMOUS
one day. YOU dont have to be famous to make a difference…you dont have to be on t.v either. Just make sure that in your heart you kno that singing is ur PURPOSE and u want IT for the right reasons…and the rest should just flow

Well,it never came out…its kinda just like a GHOST now.

35.ya i just wndering how do you fdeal wid fakes?

Well,at first I was amused,then angry…then scared…then sad for the individuals making them…but now I feel like an IDENTITY THEFT victim. Its really crazy to me that people do that…. and I’m trying to see about legal action towards those people because it reall is IDENTITY THEFT…which is a crime
