Born in Los Angeles, the world of music is no stranger to Jhene. She is one of five children, two brothers and two sisters, each in their own right musically inclined. Their father, a physician, also had a love for singing and built a studio in their home so all could pursue their musical interest. Their mother co-manages the careers of her talented extraordinary children.Jhenes mother discovered that she had a talent for writing songs before she could actually write. Her mother recounts that Jhene was 3 years old when she first asked her mother to write down rhymes for her! KARMA

Call it karma, boomerang effect, “what goes around comes back around”, nature. Whatever it may be…… its real.

Twice I’ve found myself in a position of self-pity and despair. I just couldnt understand why it was all going sour…. Y did he break up with ME?! What did I do?! …I had many answers because there was a sound reason…and I DID deserve it. Lying, cheating, sneaking, etc..I definitley deserved it. You deserve what you put forth. You get what you give… and maybe not one after the other, but eventually…u get what you deserve…good or bad. Make good decisions, learn from ur mistakes, take your own advice and REMEMBER it. Nothing is too deep to understand. On the contrary, its all very simple if you are aware. BE AWAKE.

you see arent gonna go away, so instead of lookin in the mirror for vanity….look in the mirror to

enjoy seeing life in your eyes….look in the mirror to tell yourself “I love you” …hug yourself.

Dance around in a circle and smile at yourself….look in the mirror and love yourself
